The Heartland Marimba Ensemble is a second touring group of accomplished performers who typically touor during the summer and winter seasons. Their repertoire includes many styles and genres such as jazz, classical, tango, ragtime, Americana, holiday music, and pop.HME’s previous concert engagements have included outdoor community events and fundraisers, holiday concerts for churches or communities, educational concerts for schools, virtual recording projects, and collaborations with the Heartland Marimba Quartet, such as the 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Convention.We will work with you to develop the most appropriate program for the Heartland Marimba Ensemble to perform at your venue or event. The Ensemble is versatile enough to perform a concert of any genre for almost any venue
We regularly perform educational concerts for schools, universities, and public groups. These appearances involve extra audience discussion and Q&A, with programs featuring the wide variety of musical possibilities on the marimba. We may perform smaller excerpts of long pieces to maximize the diversity of music presented. One program example is below:
